Winter Park Carol Rymer Davis Memorial Races SL and GS

Welcome to 2012 and the year of “WE NEED MORE SNOW”!  This being said, we ask you all to continue to check into SkiRaceReg or our RMM website for updates and changes to the schedule.

 This weekend we are at Winter Park for the Carol Rymer- Davis Memorial Races.  Carol’s husband John Davis is this weekend’s race sponsor and we look forward to honoring Carol and her enduring love of competition with this great race weekend.  

In keeping with tradition, we will also be awarding the Schaller Cup to the fastest overall man and woman on a sportage adjusted basis (and yes, you must race and finish both days to be eligible for this award!)

Please NOTE THE SCHEDULE.  We are racing Slalom on Saturday (Lower Hughes) and GS on Sunday (Meadows and Hughes).  We know this is a departure from our traditional order of events at Winter Park so please show up with the correct gear!  Lift tickets for racers are $45.00.  Race Registration will be in the Upper Balcony House starting at 7:30 a.m.  Please come prepared as this makes everyone’s race day experience much smoother.   

Registration: 7:30 a.m.-8:30 a.m. @ Upper Balcony House

Inspection: 9:00 a.m.

Race Start: 10:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. *subject to change

Lift Ticket for racers: $45 (have your bib to show)

What do you need to be prepared for race day:

•  Be a current RMM MEMBER and have an up to date profile
•  Have a 2011-2012 USSA Masters License
•  Race Gear 
•  Bib (so you are not subjected to wearing a paper one)
•  Your go fast, crush all the gates attitude!
